Chris Mulkey

His first adventure in acting was in a high school production of
"My Fair Lady". This performance sparked a love of theater that
prompted him to study acting at the University of Minnesota. After
graduating, Mulkey spent five years performing at the Repertory
Theater in Minnesota. He then moved to Los Angeles, where he won an
L.A. Drama Critics Award for his performance in "Blue Widow" at the
South Coast Repertory Theater. In addition, the multitalented
Mulkey released a CD of original music. "It Is About the Heart" is
a mixture of Texas alternative blues and rock. Ten of this CD's
tracks have been used in episodes of _"Any Day Now" (1998)_ (qv). A
self-described "gym rat", Mulkey enjoys playing basketball and has
competed in the Los Angeles Marathon numerous times. Mulkey
currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two daughters,
Amelia and Elizabeth.
