Dale Midkiff ventured into acting as a means to rid himself of his shyness. After graduating from Salisbury State College, he moved to New York. While holding down an assortment of jobs, he began his acting career by appearing in off-off Broadway productions such as The Wager. television movie Dallas: The Early Years (on CBS). This success was soon followed by other television roles, including his portrayal of Elvis in the mini-series Elvis and Me, and the television movies The Tracy Thurman Story, The Marla Hanson Story, and Sins of the Mother.
Dale also appeared in Dream Street and Time Trax as a series regular. His movie credits include Pet Sematary and Love Potion #9.
