Dean George Cain was born in Mt. Clements, Michigan on July 31, 1966. Although his mother was an actress, he didn't follow in her acting footsteps until much later. As a child he was more interested in becoming a sporting hero - playing professional American football.
A 'super' man - while at Princeton, he completed a history major, dated Brooke Shields for two years, and set an NCAA record for interceptions in a season. After signing with the Buffalo Bills,
a knee injury ended his pro career before it began. He finally got his big break when Superman: The Adventures of Lois and Clark debuted on CBS in 1993. He now hosts the television series, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not.
