This extremely versatile actor has been practically unrecognizable in each of the Spike Lee movies he's appeared in, from a manipulative frat leader in School Daze (1988) to a hysterical neighborhood would-be activist in Do the Right Thing (1989) to a dandy, pliable pianist in Mo' Better Blues (1990). Other credits include Bob Roberts (1992, as the radical journalist), Amos & Andrew (1993, as an activist), and Beverly Hills Cop 3 (1994). He costarred in a 1993 series, "Bakersfield P.D."
