Jan-Michael Vincent was born July 15, 1944 in Ventura, California. He went to elementary and high school in Hanford, California, and graduated from Hanford High School in 1963. Vincent made his film debut in 1968’s Journey to Shiloh , He has played leads in generally popular films such as Buster and Billie White Line Fever and Damnation Alley. In the 1980s, he was in the miniseries "The Winds of War" as well as the popular television series "Airwolf.” Vincent was unable to translate those successes into prestigious big-screen projects, and by the end of the decade, into the 1990s, he was appearing in B pictures, many of which went straight to home video. In August of 1996, he was in car crash resulting in a broken neck. He has since recovered; however, he has had spent some time in jail and rehab for alcohol abuse.
