Jared Leto was born in Bossier City, Louisiana December 26, 1971.
Jared attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and the School of Visual Arts in New York before heading on out to Los Angeles. In his first TV role, as Jordan Catellano in the cult ABC/MTV hit My So Called Life, he set screens alight with his smoldering good looks and bad boy demeanor. His résumé since then has included some very interesting and important movies of the day - from How To Make An American Quilt, The Thin Red Line, Fight Club, American Psycho and in the lead role of Prefontaine. Jared hasn't quite made it in the leading man category in Hollywood yet, but it's a matter of time.
