Jason Alexander was born September 23, 1959 in Newark, New Jersey to Ruth and Alex Greenspan. Jason played flute and also percussion in the Livingston Lancer's Marching Band. He was involved in theater during high school. Some of his high school acting credits include the shows "Guys and Dolls", "The Odd Couple" and "Oliver". In 1977, he graduated from Livingston High School in Livingston, New Jersey. He then attended Boston University, but was kicked out a year shy of graduation; he was later given an honorary doctorate. In 1985, he appeared in a commercial for McDonald's McDLT. Jason won a Tony Award for "Best Performance as a leading actor in a musical" for Jerome Robbin's 'Broadway'. He has since been in film and television, notably in Seinfeld as George. Jason also stays active in the theater. He is married to Daena E. Title and they have two sons.
