Marisol Nichols was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and began her career when a scout for CBS came to town and cast her in the pilot My Guys. This led to her move to Los Angeles and a career in film and television. Nichols has appeared in such feature films as Scream 2, Can't Hardly Wait, Vegas Vacation, Bowfinger and Jane Austen's Mafia!. She starred in the Showtime film The Princess and the Barrio Boy based on the Hans Christian Andersen story 'The Little Mermaid'. The film was nominated for a 2000 Alma Award.
In 2002, Marisol earned an Alma Award nomination for her performance in the made for TV movie, The Princess and the Marine. This film is based on the true story of Meriam Al Khalifa, the Middle Eastern princess, who fell in love with a US Marine and fled to the United States to marry him. She was a series regular on Showtime's gritty, groundbreaking drama Resurrection Blvd.
Marisol's television credits include guest starring roles on ER, Beverly Hills, 90210, Cybill, and Diagnosis Murder.
