Marlon Wayans was born and raised in New York City, New York.. One of his childhood friends is the famous Omar Epps, whom he shares the same birthday with. ("The Wood" and "Love and Basketball"). He graduated from Foriello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Performing Arts (the school that the t.v. show "Fame" was based on) in 1990. He then attended Howard University where he studied film and arts. He left after his sophmore year to work on '"In Living Color in 1991. His film debut was in "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka" (1988) as a pedestrain with his brother Shawn, written and directed by brother Keenen Ivory. He later costarred with brother Damon Wayans in "Mo' Money" (1992) with Stacey Dash ("Clueless"). He then went on to become a supporting cast member on the emmy winning show "In Living Color" (1990-1994) from 1992-1993, which was also Keenen Ivory's brainchild.
