Scott Bakula

His parents are musical. Already in the fourth grade he started
a rock band and wrote also words for some songs. Later he sang
with the St. Louis Symphony. Then he studied Law at the
University of Kansas. In 1976 he was first hired professionally
for SHENANDOAH as Sam and went to New York. After several small
roles in TV he began Quantum Leap (1989) (TV) in 1987. He
won for his Sam Beckett a 'GOLDEN GLOBE' in 1992 and was in 1988
nominated for an TONY-. Today he lives in Los Angeles and
has a farm in "up-state New York".
