He started on Broadway and in other smalltime plays, until his first part in a low budget TV movie - We're Fighting Back. He continued his carreer and co-starred along with Dennis Farina and others on the show Crime Story, based on real police from the Chicago area. After co-starring in the Oscar-nominated drama Twice in a Lifetime, he hit Broadway with his Tony-nominated portrayal of a homeless man. He also starred in other plays like "Hamlet" and "a Few Good Men". He then moved into the big budget actioner saga Tombstone as Ike Clanton. The future only looks good with the releases of D-Tox and Gods and Generals (2002).
