William Baldwin was born February 21, 1963 in Massapequa, Long Island, New York. He is the brother of Alec Baldwin, Daniel Baldwin and Stephen Baldwin. In addition to three actor brothers, has two sisters named Elizabeth and Jane. William graduated from SUNY-Binghamton. He studied political science at university. Before becoming an actor, he worked as a male model. He rode along with the Chicago Fire Dept.'s Squad 5 in preperation for his role in Backdraft. February 27, 2000, Baldwin and pop singer Chynna Phillips gave birth to 7 lb., 2 oz. daughter, Jamison Leon. He and wife Chynna are expecting their second child in late October, 2001.
