Young Carlos (Luis Castro) searches for his long-lost father after his curiosity is sparked while thumbing through old photographs. Shortly after arriving in Almeria, Carlos contacts his alcoholic grandfather Julian (Sancho Gracia), a former Clint Eastwood stunt double. Rumored to have caused Carlos's father's death years earlier when a dangerous stunt went awry, Julian spends his days staging Western shows for tourists on abandoned film sets.
