Escaped psychotic killer Michael Bosworth (Mickey Rourke) invades a quiet home, where he plans to hide until his accomplice (Kelly Lynch) shows up. At first, his hosts -- a recently separated couple (Anthony Hopkins and Mimi Rogers) -- make the best of the ominous situation, but an elaborate trap may be the only way to catch this rat. Director Michael Cimino's thriller is a loose remake of the 1955 nail-biter The Desperate Hours.
