John Anderson Wade (Rutger Hauer) is a technology smuggler selling fantasy chips to cyberjunkies on the black market. Wade's partner (Mark Dacascos) has a bad temper, which flares during an argument with Wade. When the partner kills Wade, he thinks his troubles are over, but in fact they're just beginning. Russian scientists resurrect Wade, who teams up with kickboxer Marina (Yvonne Scio) to avenge his brutal death.
